Welcome

to the personal site of Jonathan Clark. Here you will find film and photographic stories from around the world that are of personal interest to me. I do hope you will get some enjoyment browsing through some of the stories here.

I freelance both as a cinematographer and photographer in the San Francisco Bay Area where I am based out of and I travel far and wide with  my craft. My cinematography work covers: documentaries, narrative film, corporate video & commercials.

My photographic images have appeared in publications such as National Geographic, National Geographic Traveller, Communication Arts, PDN & Lonely Planet and I’ve been the recipient of numerous photography awards.

 Whitebait fishermen in the Taranaki District of New Zealand. The fishermen position themselves at the mouths of rivers where if flows into the ocean. Their nets scoop up tiny fish (whitebait). After they fry the fish up into fritters  Gannet at Muriwai Beach, Auckland, New Zealand.
